花冷え chill in cherry-blossom time

 桜は満開！
この時期、暖かくなったり、寒くなったりで、今日は桜の花も少し寒そうです。
蓬莱椿が、不思議な花をつけました。
一つの蕾から二つの花が咲きました！

The temperature swings from warm to cold at this time.
The cherry blossoms are in full bloom and look like cold today.
The camellia has a strange flower.
Two flowers blossomed in one bud!!

ここ数日、激しい風に蕾が傷つけられてしまいしましたが、蓬莱椿の花が開きました。
木はまだ小さいですが、花は、たっぷりとして気品があります。
今年も咲いてうれしいです♪

初夏を思わせる暖かさ、庭先の桜も一気に開花が早まりそうです。

Camellia flower has just blossomed after fierce wind damaged the bud in the past few days!
The tree is still small but the flower is big and elegant.
I'm happy to see the flower again this year♪

The cherry blossoms will speed up to bloom by the warming like early summer.

タイツリソウ Bleeding-heart

ケマンソウの別名、タイツリソウ（鯛釣り草）は、ハートの形がかわいらしく、茶花としても使われます。
園芸店で見つけ、蓬莱椿の隣に植えました。
最近は、イングリッシュガーデンにBleeding-heartの名前で使われるそうです。

The shape of flower is like heart and it's also decorated for the tea ceremony.
It's so cute!
It looks like sea breams (Tai fishes) are hanging from fishing rod, so it's named Tai-tsuri-so in Japan.
I found it in the garden shop and planted it next to camellia in my garden.
Recently it's planted in the English garden under the name of Bleeding-heart.

春一番 The first spring storm

立春の日、『春一番』が九州南部に吹きました。

『春一番』とは、立春から春分までの間に最初に吹くおおむね風速８メートル以上の暖かい南風。

蓬莱椿の蕾はまだまだ硬いです♪

“The first spring storm” blew in southern Kyushu on the day of Risshun.

It means the first strong,warm and south wind (a wind speed of more than 8 m/s) between Risshun(around February 4) and Shunbun(spring equinox).

Camellia buds are still hard　♪

お正月飾り Ｎｅｗ Year's decoration

2013年、巳年が明けました♪

鏡餅と一緒に、かわいい米俵、梅、凧、招き猫を飾ってみました。

地方により違うようですが、12月28日に飾り、1月7日に片付けます。

Happy New Year! 2013,year of the Snake.

 I decorated miniatures of straw rice bags, a plum flower, kite and Manekineko(cat bringing in good future) with Kagamimochi(special new year’s rice cake).

They are decorated on December 28^th and put away on January 7^th depending on the regions.

巣鴨 とげぬき地蔵 洗い観音 The Goddess of Kannon

『おばあちゃんの原宿』で有名な　巣鴨　とげぬき地蔵　高岩寺　の『洗い観音』

治癒したい部分を洗うとご利益があると伝えられます♪
長～い列ができていました！

It’s named Arai-Kannon is at Kougan temple in Sugamo.

Sugamo is popular for elderly people and is known for Harajyuku of Grandmother♪

Your prayers will get answered if you wash a part of The Goddess of Kannon you want to heal.

It has a long line to receive good luck!
