借景と枯山水 The Borrowed scenery and the dry garden style

京都、比叡山を借景とした、正伝寺の枯山水。

石を使わず、ツツジを使い、緑が美しく清涼感がある。

冬は、白く雪が積もり、趣が増すようです。

日本の美意識の粋です！

This is the dry garden style (Karesansui) with the borrowed scenery (Shakkei) of  Mount Hiei at Shodenji temple in Kyoto.

This Karesansui uses azalea not use stones.

Therefore it makes me feel cool and fresh.

Azalea with snow is more beautiful in winter.

It's Japanese beauty sense. Brilliant!!    

花火 Fireworks

夏の夜空をi彩る大輪の花。
爆音と爆風の迫力を肌で感じ、儚い美しさに見とれて、ひと時の感動を胸に残します。
日本の夏の風物詩♪

Large flowers color the night sky in summer.
I feel the boom and blast on my skin, and then admire the fragile beauty.
They leave momentary impression.
The summery image of Japan♪

水琴窟 Suikinkutsu

織田信長の弟で、千利休に茶道を学んだ織田有楽斎による茶室『如庵』のある『有楽苑』には水琴窟があります。
耳を澄ますと、なんとも風雅な音が聞えてきます♪

Uraku-en has National treasure, tea house [Jyoan] was built by Oda Urakusai is Oda Nobunaga's younger brother and Sen Rikyu's pupil.
It also has Suikinkutsu is buried earthen jar that makes sound when water drips into it .
It makes mellow and beautiful sound!

団扇 Paper fan

ホッと厳しい暑さを和らげてくれます。

和紙が持つ風合い、絵柄、色合い、日本の夏です♪

They ease the summer heat.

The feeling of Japanese paper,desingns and colors symbolize the Japanese summer♪

鳥獣戯画 Caricatures of Animals

お気に入りの、鳥獣戯画の和装バッグ。

半夏生 Hangesho

小さなヒマワリに似たイシイモの黄花。

夏が近付くと共に、緑の葉がお化粧したように白くなる半夏生。

梅雨から夏へと季節の移り変わりを告げています♪

Yellow flowers are named Ishiimo.
It's like small Sunflower .

As summer approaches, green leaves of Hangesho are changing to white color like make-up.

It's a signal of the changing seasons from the rainy season to summer.

ハナショウブ Iris flower

 ハナショウブは、葉脈が隆起しているのが特徴。
アヤメは、花びらの基部に文模様があり、カキツバタは、花びらの中央に白い線がある。
どれもアヤメ科で似ていますね。
凛とした美しい姿に惹きつけられます。

Hanashoubu has raised vein.
Ayame has lattice pattern at the base of petal.
Kakitsubata has white line in the middle of leaf.
It's hard to tell them apart.
I'm attracted by its cool and beauty.
